Dept. of Mechanical Engineering is nurturing creative convergence talents who are faithful to the basics of engineering and strong in practical work to foster smart manufacturing experts.
Dept. of Mechanical Engineering fosters machine system manufacturing experts with the core competencies required in the manufacturing field. We operate a practice-oriented curriculum that reflects the latest technological changes for design, processing, assembly, and measurement. In addition, we conduct classes using advanced equipment and dedicated practice rooms. It also encourages students to participate in creative engineering projects and competitions, educating self-directed learning. We also support club activities to improve practical skills through project development. With the continuous growth of the high-tech mechanical industry in the Seoul metropolitan area, the demand for manpower in the mechanical industry will increase. Therefore, employment is positive, and the status of graduates is expected to rise further.

Department of Mechanical Design Engineering
The Department of Mechanical Design Engineering nurtures students to be equipped with the basic skills suitable for the field of smart manufacturing and design, and to become experts in mechanical design with excellent practical skills.
This department provides software (CAD, CAM, CAE)-centred applied design education based on the basic subjects required by industry and project education that emphasises creativity and teamwork. In addition, we nurture engineers specialising in designing parts, systems, and production necessary for the traditional machinery industry and new growth industries so that they can have field-friendly practical design capabilities. After graduation, students can enter various sectors such as automobiles, IT, moulds, plants, piping, electronics, heavy industry, semiconductor facilities, and display equipment.
