- 1) All documents shall be submitted with the recently issued original, and where the documents are requested to be returned, the original documents shall be returned
- 2) When the documents to be submitted are in a foreign language other than English, the translator confirmation and the translation must be submitted (no notarization required)
- 3) A person who has graduated from a high school and university from 21 examination countries designated by the Ministry of Justice from a foreign school shall use the following three methods
- Graduation and transcript must be submitted in one way
- ① Evidence documents, such as an Apostille-confirmed degree (educated)
- ② Documents proving academic background and family relations, such as a degree confirmed by a Korean consul or a diplomatic mission in Korea in the country where the school of origin is located
- ③ Certificate of recognition of academic background issued by the Center for Academic and Degree Certification operated by the Ministry of Education of China (limited to those who have acquired academic background in China)
- ※ Public confirmation may be omitted if you have obtained a degree (education) from a university in Korea.
- 4) Those who are expected to graduate from high school must submit their graduation certificate before February 28 every year after graduation, and if they do not submit, they will be rejected
- 5) If the qualifications for application are clear, such as scholarship students supported by foreign and Korean governments, the documents submitted may be omitted.
- 6) If you graduated from a community college in Korea, you can skip submitting high school transcripts and diplomas.
- 7) Documents proving family relations shall be submitted only to applicants from 21 countries notified by the Minister of Justice below, and data indicating the parents' English names must be attached.

- 9) From March 1, 2021, foreigners and foreigners staying in Korea for more than 6 months must subscribe to health insurance and pay insurance premiums, so they must submit a health insurance subscription certificate to verify this
